We are interested in all aspects of architecture/ architects - old and new. We aim to further this by inviting speakers to meetings, watching and discussing relevant DVDs and by arranging visits to architectural places of interest.
Once a year we hold a members' meeting where members are encouraged to give a short presentation on an architectural topic that interests them; but only if they are happy to do so!

'Chesterton House, Rectory Place' -
speaker Andy Jervis
Chesterton House (pictured right) is one of Loughborough’s most iconic buildings and famous as the site of the first Grammar School for Girls in England. Andy will explain the history of this fascinating property and take us on a virtual tour of the building to bring to life the many different people who have lived there, and the work that continues to keep it in good shape for the centuries to come.
